HYSA Recreational Fall 2010 Dates
All players, returning and new, need to bring a COPY of their birth certificate to registration. This is a requirement of MSA.
August 7, 14: On-site Registration:
Tatum Park In Ref Room from 9am - 3pm
YMCA from 9am - 3pm
August 21: On-site Late Registration Tatum Park from 12pm - 3pm/Coaches Meeting (without rosters)
August 23-29: Team formation and rosters emailed to coaches
August 30: Practices begin
September 11: Week 1 games
September 18: Week 2 games
September 25: Week 3 games
September 27 – October 1: Week 4 games (played during the week because of tournament)
October 2-3: Proposed HYSA OPEN Recreational Tournament Weekend
October 9: Week 5 games
October 16: Week 6 games
October 23: Week 7 games
October 30: City Tournament Opening Round
November 1: City Tournament Semifinals
November 2: City Tournament Finals

Parents, coaches are contacting all players today. Some teams are holding additional sessions but if you haven't been contacted by the end of today, please contact us via email below. Some teams that are still in the process of forming are: Boys U14, Boys U15, Girls U15. Please watch for additional sessions in your age group.
CONGRATULATIONS to all of the HFC select teams who participated in the MS State Cup May 28 - 30. The following teams did exceptionally well in representing our Club:

Interested in becoming a referee?? Anyone who would like to become a referee for HYSA must be 12 years old or older. AFTER THE LAST SATURDAY IN JULY (no courses will be listed before this date!), please go to www.mississippisoccer.org and click on REFEREE COURSES. Register for and complete a class somewhere in the state. (Referee clinics will not begin until August after the Advanced Referee Clinic held at Belhaven College in late July). Once you have completed your referee clinic, please contact the HYSA Referee Assignor, Gates Weaver, at gatesw1@aol.com , to sign up to be a HYSA referee.
